Alex is located on the family farm.
His wood craft is a delight to see.He takes each piece of cypress
and molds it into a beautiful piece of furniture. It is as though he can mold
the wood. Some pieces are small, such as: coffee tables-benches.
There are medium sized tables which can be used for dining and cutting boards.
Massive tables have been molded just as the piece comes to him.
The legs on all pieces are a work of art in themselves!
*** Alex was a logger in New England for 20 years.
He decided several years ago to come home. Logging here is mostly pulpwood, which he complained about it,a lot! A large cypress logger found Alex, who was someone who would cut anything, anywhere! He
ended up in the SC swamps cutting cypress with the snakes and
alligators! Here is where he found much of his first beautiful cypress and dreamed of working with it. A tragic car accident brought his logging career to an end. The wood craft started as a something to do and now he
is a master crafter! His many logging friends are finding cypress and cedar pieces for him and they exchange wood for craft pieces.
